How to Mix and Use Melanotan 2

How to Mix MT2 Vials the Right Way

Melanotan 2 arrives in two small flasks that must be combined for use. It’s a quick process, but following each step is important for safe and effective results. Let’s walk through it together:

1. Gently pull off the yellow cap from the MT2 vial. (See Pics 2 below)
2. Use the alcohol wipes (included in your kit) to clean the tops of both vials.
3. Also wipe the water vial with the same alcohol wipe.
4. Take your syringe, insert the needle into the water vial, and draw out exactly 1ml. Some users prefer to add 0.25ml more to reduce side effects. (See Pics 1)
5. Slowly inject the water into the MT2 vial by pushing the needle through the center of the grey cap (beneath the yellow one). Use the raised circle as a guide. If there’s resistance, try slightly off-center. (See Pics 2)
6. Aim to let the water slide down the side of the vial rather than splash directly on the powder. If adding more water, repeat this process. For nasal mixing, use 2 full syringes (2ml total) per vial.
7. Gently roll the vial between your fingers to dissolve the contents. Never shake it.
8. Once mixed, store the vial upright in your fridge until use.

Once opened, the water cannot be saved. Dispose of any leftover water responsibly.

Mixing Melanotan 2 for Nasal Spray Use

To mix for nasal spray, simply follow the steps above—but use 2 full syringes of water per vial. Once mixed, gently draw the full solution from both vials and transfer it into the nasal spray bottle.

Store the prepared nasal spray in the fridge, upright, for up to six months. The unmixed product lasts around 12 months in a cool, dark place.

Need lower dosing or fewer side effects?

Some people start with micro doses—just 0.05ml (about 1/20 of a syringe) for the first 3–4 days—or simply double the water during mixing.

Which syringe is best?

Your kit includes the correct ones. But if buying elsewhere, choose a 1ml ultra-fine fixed needle syringe, either 29g or 30g (that’s the needle thickness).

How to Use Melanotan 2 Tanning Injections

Ready to start your tanning journey? Great! Just make sure your mixed MT2 solution, syringe, and alcohol swabs are ready. You’re just six simple steps away from your first shot:

1. Grab your mixed MT2 vial. Push the syringe needle through the center of the grey cap—just like when adding water.
2. Gently pull back the plunger and draw 0.1ml of solution (that’s about 1/10 of the syringe). See pic below
3. Clean the injection area on your belly—just a few centimeters from your belly button.
4. Pinch 1–2 cm of tummy skin (about four fingers from your navel). This helps you avoid going too deep.
5. Insert the needle into that pinched area at a 90-degree angle. If you’re slim, go in at 45 degrees Make sure it stays in the fatty layer (not deeper).
6. Slowly press the plunger to deliver the full 0.1ml. Once done, gently remove the needle.

And that’s it—you’ve taken your first MT2 jab!

Tip: If you’re sensitive, try micro dosing 0.05ml for the first 3–4 days, or double the water during mixing to ease side effects.

*People with a low tolerance level may wish to either micro dose 0.05ml  (20th of a syringe) for the first 3-4 days or add double the amount of water when mixing the solution.

The Right Melanotan 2 Dosage – Here’s What Works

To get the best out of Melanotan 2, consistency is key—but keep it to just once a day. We recommend taking 0.1ml (a tenth of your syringe) each night before bed. This simple timing helps reduce early side effects.

By the fourth dose, you might notice freckles starting to darken—especially if you’re very fair-skinned. For some, this change takes a few extra days. Once that happens, it means the solution is working in your system. A bit of UV exposure is then needed to activate the full tanning effect.

Keep up with daily jabs and add UV every other day until you reach your ideal tone. Once you’ve hit your goal, it’s easy—just drop to one weekly dose and reduce sun exposure.
